Version 2

I was born in France and moved to Chile when I was just 6 years old. Ever
since I can remember, I have been profoundly connected with the heterogenous
social and cultural puzzle that compose my country. After getting a degree
in Ecotourism management, I immersed myself with working on different
projects in some of the most renowned natural places in Chile such as Torres
del Paine National Park and Atacama Desert. Observing the vast beauty of
these landscapes I unfortunately bore witness to the innumerable negative
impacts of tourism in those delicate ecosystems.
In 2015 I moved to the US with my partner with the
intention of discovering the natural marvels of her country. Over the past
few years, I have connected with and gotten inspiration from many people and
institutions that prioritize responsible tourism and conservation over
traditional tourism.
After years of nomadic adventures my heart was finally captured by Portland
OR where we see living proof that people can find a balance between living
with nature and our desire to live in large communities defined as cities.
I seek to harness my travel and leisure professional network skills to find likeminded people and promote Chile in the Pacific Northwest.
This desire gave way to my project titled ‘The Greenest Way’ with the
intention of creating ties between tour operators, local companies, guides
and travelers. TGW wants to motivate those stakeholders toward healthier ways of doing tourism and redirect funds toward conservation.
